Perhaps something like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw4.pdf?portlet=3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IRS Form W-4<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>If so, you may be interested to learn that in addition to <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.apexdevnet.com\/index.php\/Visualforce_Quote2PDF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">creating PDF documents from scratch<\/a>, you can also use Visualforce and Apex to automate the process of populating third-party PDF forms. Ron Hess and I(Jesse Lorenz) recently collaborated on a project that does just that. It&#8217;s a straightforward process where all you really need to do is generate an XML file that follows Adobe&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/partners.adobe.com\/public\/developer\/xml\/index_arch.html#dfdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">XFDF<\/a> format.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re interested to learn more, we&#8217;ve documented an example that creates an XFDF file which is then used to populate a simple PDF form.
