Cartoon Network,<\/strong> a hot favourite with most children, has designed a new show exclusively <\/strong>for Doordarshan<\/strong> viewers titled “Cartoon Network Duniya<\/strong>” that starts July 8. <\/p>\n

The hour-long show will come on every Saturday at 10.30 p.m. and feature two of Turner’s <\/strong>popular and original productions – “M.A.D<\/strong>” (Music, Art and Dance show) and “Codename: Kids Next Door<\/strong>“. <\/p>\n

“Doordarshan’s extensive reach across India will enable kids in non-C&S <\/strong>(cable and satellite) homes to enjoy Turner’s engaging original production, that has so far been limited to C&S<\/strong> homes,” said Anshuman Mis<\/strong>ra, managing director of Turner <\/strong>International India. <\/p>\n

“In the preliminary stage, the highly rated ‘M.A.D’ and popular animation series ‘Codename: Kids Next Door’ will serve as the perfect introduction to new viewers. Later in the year, ‘Galli Galli Sim Sim’ <\/strong>will further enhance this appeal by showcasing content that is both educational and entertaining in nature.” <\/p>\n

“Galli Galli Sim Sim” is the Indian version of the globally renowned pre-school series “Sesame Street”. <\/em><\/p>\n

The show is aimed at serving 157 million <\/strong>children under the age of six <\/strong>in India and is also committed to supporting India’s Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan <\/strong>(Universal Access to Education). <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
