{"id":334,"date":"2006-07-13T15:35:21","date_gmt":"2006-07-13T10:05:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chiragmehta.info\/chirag\/2006\/07\/13\/infosys-net-soars-492-per-cent-guidance-thrills-street\/"},"modified":"2006-07-13T15:38:38","modified_gmt":"2006-07-13T10:08:38","slug":"infosys-net-soars-492-per-cent-guidance-thrills-street","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chiragmehta.info\/chirag\/2006\/07\/13\/infosys-net-soars-492-per-cent-guidance-thrills-street\/","title":{"rendered":"Infosys net soars 49.2 per cent, guidance thrills Street"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ack:- <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dnaindia.com\/report.asp?NewsID=1041287\">DNA India<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Infosys Technologies<\/strong> on Wednesday posted a street-thumping <strong>49.2% rise <\/strong>in first-quarter profit at<strong> Rs 794 crore <\/strong>and <strong>45.6% jump in revenues <\/strong>at <strong>Rs 3,015 crore <\/strong>on increased orders from its existing customers and depreciation of rupee against major currencies.<\/p>\n<p>The Bangalore-based firm raised its <strong>guidance <\/strong>by <strong>10%<\/strong> to project a <strong>revenue growth <\/strong>of <strong>40.7% <\/strong>for the entire fiscal of about<strong> Rs 13,400 <\/strong><strong>crore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In April, Infosys had projected its revenues would grow at 30.7% to touch Rs 12,446 crore by March 2007.<\/p>\n<p>The Nasdaq-listed Infosys had posted net profit of Rs 523 crores on revenues of Rs 1967 crores between April and June 2005.
