This 26\/7, the <strong>deal is soaring high again<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A meeting on July 26, <strong>2004<\/strong>, had resulted in the <strong>Rs100 crore-in-exchange-of-100 paintings <\/strong>deal between businessman<strong> Guru Swarup Srivastava <\/strong>and artist<strong> MF Husain. <\/strong>But the same day next year, it was almost washed away in the deluge. <\/p>\n<p>Srivastava is on a real high despite the master painter having <strong>failed to meet the deadline <\/strong>for delivering 100 paintings\u00e2\u20ac\u201dSeptember 2005. <\/p>\n<p>Happy that the artist <strong>was painting at his own pace<\/strong>, Srivastava told <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dnaindia.com\/report.asp?NewsID=1043770\">DNA<\/a>, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The cost of each painting has already jumped <strong>four <\/strong>times. Many buyers from <strong>Europe <\/strong>and <strong>America <\/strong>have contacted us.
