Overall, the company has set itself a target of<strong> $10 billion by 2010.<\/strong> This translates into <strong>e-governance revenues<\/strong> of over <strong>$1<\/strong> billion.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153We project at least <strong>10% contribution to TCS\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 overall revenues through e-governance<\/strong> by fiscal year ending 2009-10,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d says <strong>Tanmoy Chakrabarty<\/strong>, vice-president (global government industry group), TCS.<\/p>\n<p>Last year TCS earned less than $200 million through its e-governance practice. According to estimates, the <strong>global e-governance pie is over 180 billion<\/strong>, of which Indian companies share at present is <strong>minuscule<\/strong>, less than <strong>1%.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>TCS <\/strong>rivals such as <strong>Infosys, Wipro, Satyam and HCL<\/strong> have lesser share of e-governance in their overall pie.
