It can be frustrating accessing them everytime from a maze of folders! Wish you could open any work-in-progress document in a couple of clicks? \u00c2\u00a0Well, the <strong>Work<\/strong> menu in Microsoft Word grants this wish!<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Work<\/strong> menu keeps a list of Word documents you wish to access readily. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s like the \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcFavourites\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 menu in your internet browser.\u00c2\u00a0 All you need to do is to get this <strong>Work<\/strong> menu onto your Word menu bar.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s how to do it:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the <strong>Tools<\/strong> menu, click <strong>Customize<\/strong>, and then click the <strong>Commands<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Categories<\/strong> box, click <strong>Built-in Menus<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Commands<\/strong> box, click <strong>Work<\/strong> and drag it to the menu bar. The <strong>Work<\/strong> menu gets added to the menu bar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can now add any open Word document to the <strong>Work <\/strong>menu list. Here\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s more about your <strong>Work<\/strong> menu:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To add your current document to the <strong>\u00c2\u00a0Work<\/strong> menu, \u00c2\u00a0on the <strong>Work<\/strong> menu, click <strong>Add to Work Menu<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>To open a document on the <strong>Work<\/strong> menu, \u00c2\u00a0on the <strong>Work<\/strong> menu, click the document you want to open.<\/li>\n<li>To remove a document from the <strong>Work<\/strong> menu:\n<ul>\n<li>Press <strong>CTRL<\/strong>+<strong>ALT<\/strong>+ <strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u201d<\/strong> (dash key). Your cursor will change to a large, bold underscore.<\/li>\n<li>On the <strong>Work<\/strong> menu, click the document you want to remove.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No more fretting over where you last saved a document, or a long series of clicks to fetch it.
