Dear God,
\nI have been a very good boy this year and I would like a bike for my birthday.
\nI want a red one.

Bobby knew that this wasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t true. He had not been a very good boy this year,
\nSo he tore up the letter and started over. <\/p>\n
Letter 2 <\/p>\n
Dear God,
\nThis is your friend Bobby. I have been a good boy this year and I would like
\nA red bike for my birthday. Thank you.
\nYour friend, <\/p>\n
Bobby <\/p>\n
Bobby knew that this wasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t true either. So, he tore up the letter and started again. <\/p>\n
Letter 3 <\/p>\n
Dear God,
\nI have been an OK boy this year. I still would really like a bike for my birthday.
\nBobby
\nBobby knew he could not send this letter to God either. So, Bobby wrote a fourth letter. <\/p>\n
Letter 4 <\/p>\n
God,
\nI know I haven\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t been a good boy this year. I am very sorry.
\nI will be a good boy if you just send me a bike for my birthday.
\nPlease! Thank you, <\/p>\n
Bobby <\/p>\n
Bobby knew, even if it was true, this letter was not going to get him a bike.
\nNow, Bobby was very upset. He went downstairs and told his mom that he wanted to go to church.
\nBobby\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s mother thought her plan had worked, as Bobby looked very sad.
\nJust be home in time for dinner, Bobby\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s mother told him.
\nBobby walked down the street to the church on the corner.
\nLittle Bobby went into the church and up to the altar.
\nHe looked around to see if anyone was there.
\nBobby bent down and picked up a statue of the Mary.
\nHe slipped the statue under his shirt and ran out of the church, down the street, into the house, and up to his room.
\nHe shut the door to his room and sat down with a piece of paper and a pen.
\nBobby began to write his letter to God <\/p>\n

God,
