Humurous Story

Ack:- Saurabh Rawane

A married couple was in a terrible accident where the man’s face was severely burned. The doctor told the husband that they couldn’t graft any skin from his body because he was too skinny. So the wife offered to donate some of her own skin. However, the only skin on her body that the doctor felt was suitable would have to come from her buttocks.

The husband and wife agreed that they would tell no one about where the skin came from, and they requested that the doctor also honour their secret After all, this was a very delicate matter. After the surgery was completed, everyone was astounded at the man’s new face.

He looked more handsome than he ever had before! All his friends and relatives just went on and on about his youthful beauty! One day, he was alone with his wife, and he was overcome with emotion ather sacrifice .He said, “Dear, I just want to thank you for everything you did for me.

How can I possibly repay you? “My darling,” she replied, “I get all the thanks I need every time I see your mother kiss you on the cheek.

Little Johnny

Ack:- Parth Barot

Little Johnny was busy doing his homework. As his mother approached she heard:

“One and one, the son-of-a-bitch is two.”
“Two and two, the son-of-a-bitch is four.”
“Three and three… ”

His mother interrupted, asking where he had learned this way of doing math. Little Johnny remarked that his teacher Ms. Margo taught him.

His mother was rather upset and told him to stop the homework. The next day she stormed into Little Johnny’s classroom and confronted Ms. Margo. Little Johnny’s mother told Ms. Margo about Little Johnny’s different way of doing math, and his claims that Ms. Margo taught it that way to the class.

The teacher was flabbergasted. She said that she couldn’t understand why Little Johnny had said what he did. Then suddenly, Ms Margo exclaimed, “Oh, I know, here in school we say, one and one, the sum-of-which is two.”

Hack to perform custom save functionality

Perform following steps , its like a neat little trick for over ridding save functionality

  1. Write a custom s-control that directs the user to the standard edit page of the object in question, but sets the saveURL to point to your custom component that will perform the action. The saveURL needs to include the ID of the object.
  2. Override the Edit button for the object in question with your s-control.
  3. When the user clicks Edit, they get the standard edit page, then when they click Save, they’re redirected to your component, which performs whatever actions you need.

Oracle Sues SAP for Corporate Theft

The war between Oracle and SAP is about to move beyond enterprise applications to the courtroom.

Oracle said that it has sued SAP “about corporate theft on a grand scale” seeking undisclosed damages. Oracle also argues that the theft formed the basis of SAP’s “Safe Passage” program, which is designed to entice Oracle customers to switch to SAP. SAP won’t comment until it has reviewed the complaint.

“We have just been notified of the lawsuit, and have taken note of the Oracle press release,” said an SAP spokesman. “We are still reviewing the matter, and, until we have a chance to study the allegations, SAP will follow is standard policy of not commenting on pending litigation.”

Unsatisfied NetSuite Customer

Here’s a blog post from an unsatisfied NetSuite Customer.(Click here to read the entire post)

Some good quotes:
“NetSuite is 10 miles wide and 10 inches deep. It has lots of features, but little ‘out of the box depth’ to most features. We have been down or partially down 100 times more often in NetSuite than we were at our Yahoo store. NetSuite Alacarte [sic] = Ala-Screwed-out-of-needed-features. We pay WAY more for NetSuite than we have for any other e-commerce platform”

Vista dinged again

The carefully crafted image of Windows Vista as the most secure operating system of all time is beginning to take a beating.

For the second time this month, Microsoft has shipped a security bulletin with patches for a “critical” Vista vulnerability that puts millions of users at risk of code execution attacks.

The update — MS07-021 — is one of five bulletins released in Microsoft’s scheduled batch of patches for April. Four of the five are rated “critical,” Microsoft’s highest severity rating.

The five bulletins contain fixes for a total of 8 vulnerabilities affecting multiple versions of Windows and the Microsoft Content Management Server.

The total patch count for April stands at 15, including the flaws covered in last week’s emergency animated cursor (.ani) update.

The remote code execution flaw that dinged Vista is an error in the way the Windows Client/Server Run-time Subsystem (CSRSS) process handles error messages. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability by constructing a specially crafted application that could potentially allow remote code execution.

In all, the MS07-021 update fixes three different CSRSS bugs, all affecting Vista. However, only one of the three is rated critical across the board. The risk from the other two are limited toprivilege escalation and denial-of-service conditions.

Its friendship…….

When a person calls u by a stupid name and never by ur own name…..
When they always get angry, whenever u tell them that u r busy and cant reply…
When they tell u everything about themselves even if its embarassing…
When they come to c u, whenever they get a chance….
When u argue with each other on stupid things and then end up laughing….
Celebrate with ur friends
